Christmas tastes different in every place. In the Douro, it comes with regional wines and the river in the heart of winter. In the Alentejo, Christmas Eve flavours, filhós and azevias arrive at the table. In the Algarve, it is celebrated among orange trees, pine forests and the sea. And in the Azores, with island traditions, seasonal flavours and the Atlantic close by.

From north to south, and all the way to São Miguel, each Octant has prepared a stay programme designed to give you more time to enjoy these days. All programmes include accommodation, breakfast and a special dinner on Christmas Eve.

From there, each destination adds its own way of celebrating. Depending on the Octant you choose, the programme may also include a welcome cocktail, late-night supper, entertainment, Christmas lunch or buffet on 25 December, and different activities to enjoy throughout your stay.
