RAIVA


Unlikely inspirations, with the Douro at the heart of everything

Raiva is not only the civil parish where our restaurant is located – it is also part of the Lower Douro region, home to a wealth of distinctive regional delicacies. The cuisine is simple and relaxed, inspired by the Douro River from its source. But Raiva (which means "anger" in Portuguese) is also an emotion – a sense of energy and restlessness that drives innovation, reinterpretation and unexpected choices in this menu. Choosing between traditional regional dishes and those created by Chef Dárcio Henriques is no easy task – so why not opt for the tasting menu?
